Merging flavors from his home country in Egypt, this pitmaster moved to Austin, TX to bring the mediterranean sea to the Texas hill country. This talented individual also made a TV debut on a BBQ competition show that aired on Netflix this past summer.
Located in Oak Cliff, this pitmaster took over his father’s BBQ joint and has turned it into a Dallas staple. Whether it’s serving first-class BBQ or serving his community, this individual continues to pave the way for future pitmasters and now teaches BBQ classes for children in the community.
This pitmaster might be the biggest Houston sports fan in the state of Texas, but he’s mostly known as the whole hog guy and quickly became one of the best self taught pitmasters we know to this day.
TV personality, and highly decorated chef, this individual is currently the owner/chef of the James Beard-nominated restaurant and utilizes his Thai family roots in his menu and recipes. Fun fact: this chef appeared on Food Network's hit show Iron Chef and now hosts his own show.
