"This thermometer exceeded my expectations. I have used many different types of thermometers over the years and was curious about this style. I wasn't too sure how accurate the temp reading on the app would be so I checked it against my normal probe temp. It was DEAD ON! Really impressive piece of equipment."

"I was hesitant to buy this because of the price and already having a smoker with temperature probes but since I needed a new probe for the Nomad I went with the Meater. This thing is awesome. Not only does it tell me when the meat is done, it gives an estimated time to completion (which my wife is always asking so she knows when to start the sides). It tells me the ambient temperature where the meat is sitting for accurate offset cooking and smoking. It also helps with the temperature balance adjustment on my smoker. The app has predefined cooks or you can program your own. The only suggestions I would have for Meater is to make these in various sizes for thinner cuts of meat and add wifi to the box so I don’t need multiple devices to cloud connect to the probe."
