Keep your cookware buttery smooth
The Ultimate Carbon Steel Protection
Seasoning carbon steel is important because it helps prevent rust and sticking, and gives your griddle a natural, easy-release cooking surface. The more you cook on and re-season your carbon steel griddle, the thicker the seasoning layer becomes, making the pan smoother, darker, and more durable ensuring it'll last for generations.

Use Instructions
How to apply Griddle Gold™ Seasoning Wax
- Begin by washing your Carbon Steel Griddle with mild dish soap and warm water. You'll want to make sure the griddle is completely dried off with a lint free rag once you've washed it.
- Set your oven to 450°F. While the oven is preheating, place the griddle face down and let it gradually heat up for 15 min. This ensures your griddle is completely dry prior to seasoning.
- Using an oven mitt or heat resistant glove, carefully pull the griddle out and set it on the stove or a safe/flat surface to work on.
- Now that it’s hot, apply 1 tablespoon of GriddleGold™ directly on the griddle. As the seasoning wax melts, spread it thoroughly with a microfiber rag. Be sure to work it in evenly. (You do not want spots or puddles. This will cause an uneven seasoning.)
- Once it spreads evenly, place the griddle back into the oven facedown for 30 min.
- After 30 min, pull the griddle out. At this point your griddle should have a darker sheen to it. For deeper seasoning, add another tablespoon of GriddleGold, spread evenly and put back in the oven for another 30 min.

Why is re-seasoning important?
Without seasoning, carbon steel can rust. Regular re-seasoning will protect from rust and oxidation for a lifetime of use.
How does it work?
Seasoning wax is applied to a steel surface and then heated so the wax and oil polymerize and form a protective layer.
How many applications does it take to achieve desired results?
Adding seasoning layers protects and seals for a dependably non-stick surface. Repeat the seasoning process regularly to ensure a lifetime of slippery surfaces.
What products can I use this on?
This product is perfect for protecting and maintaining a smooth and clean cooking surface on your Carbon Steel Griddle or Cast Cooking Grate
Will this work for my cast irons?
Yes! This is safe to use for reseasoning cast iron pans, etc.
